Melville High School

Hamilton’s Melville High School received $3,043 to purchase a defibrillator for use in an emergency.

The school has two students with heart conditions and several older staff members, so a defibrillator is an essential piece of life saving equipment for the school to have on hand.

Being a decile 4 school, with a growing roll of around 600, it struggles financially to deal with any extra expenses which means the Mazda Foundation grant will help to ensure a safe environment for its students and staff.
