June 2018 Recipients
Riverdale School received $1,348 to purchase eco-friendly garden beds for their Green Team.
The Green Team is made up of students who are passionate about gardening and are committed to protecting and preserving the natural environment.
Through this initiative the team has introduced paper recycling bins and a school wide composting system, and they also contribute to a section in the school newsletter, sharing facts and tips to help support sustainable living practices within the wider community.
