The Opunake Districts Rest Home Trust received $1,147.50 to allow six of its staff members to attend a full-day, comprehensive first aid training certificate course.
The Opunake Cottage Rest Home which the Trust operates provides a resident centred service for elderly people within their community that promotes independence and quality of life.
