Emma Lovett

Emma Lovett’s four-year-old son, Reid, has Cerebral Palsy, which affects his legs and ability to walk unaided.

The Lovett family received $5,000.00 from the Mazda Foundation to go towards ongoing funding for a selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery to be done at the St Louis Children’s Hospital in the USA.

After the surgery, Reid will undergo intensive therapy before starting school, in order to give him the best chance at normal movement so that he can participate as much as possible in mainstream education.
