Waikato Equitherapy Incorporated provide horse riding programmes for therapy, education, sport and recreation to children and adults with special needs in a family friendly and supportive environment.
It received $3,407.00 to purchase new helmets and stirrup leathers for its riders, new rugs for some of their horses as well as new halters, leads, girths and saddle cloths.
Waikato Equitherapy work to create a place where both riders and volunteers can gain confidence in their own abilities and form strong friendships in an accepting environment.
