The Scout Association of New Zealand’s Nelson based, Iron Duke Sea Scouts, has so many new members it was in desperate need of new equipment.
It received $8,103.99 to purchase two Kakapo tents to replace old ones, and a new boat trailer in order to meet the high demand.
Iron Duke Sea Scouts enable young people in Nelson to enjoy new adventures, experience the outdoors, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
