Tauranga Environment Centre Charitable Trust’s mission is to become the hub of sustainability, environmental education and advocacy for the Bay of Plenty with a goal of advocating for and creating a sustainable future. They received a grant of $6,982 towards their Predator Free project to purchase supplies for making pest chew cards, tracking tunnels, monitoring tools and traps to target a variety of mammalian predators. This grant will enable the trust to have the resources to further their project and increase education throughout New Zealand schools.
